Went for third service at one pm! I
really really really really reallyAND REALLY
MIZZ ATTENDING CHURCH!
(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)Serious okay! Choir's been in the way for the past few weeks but thank God, because of the chinese new year break, there isn't any training today yay! So, i GLEEFULLY went to the roxy square bridge to meet up with my dear dear tasha! You know she was really kind to walk all the way to pick me and walk up the way back to church!
Hah, tasha's soooooo nice hor. Anyway, praise and worship was ELECTRIFYING. Not only that, tasha said my arm rubbed off hers and there was STATIC MAN! Cool right?
The sermon was about
USE IT OR LOSE IT {extra}YEAH! By Pastor Daniel. It was great preaching that set my mind to the talents each and everyone of us have. Overall about this sermon is that God loaned us all of our special talents, be it singing, acting etc, and that He wants us to use wisefully for the purpose of God. To spread his Word.
This is taken from Pastor Daniel's sermon :
Romans 6:13And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousnessto sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
The
seven principles of talent management : ( parable of the talents - Matt 25:14)
1. The principle of ownership - everything i have belongs to God.
All our talents are God-loaned!
2. The principle of allocation - God has loaned me a set of talents. And two things about talent is that the amount differs and everybody gets a talent.
Something Pastor Daniel said that made me shocked was that scientists have been researching on this and has discovered that an average human has about 400 to 800 talents! Absolutely shokcing right? Flabbergasted is the right word.
3. The principle of accountability - God expects me to make he most of my talents.
4. The principle of use - it's wrong to bury what God loans us.
{ YOU CAN NEVER PLEASE GOD BY PLAYING SAFE ! BE RADICAL }
because God says, " I would rather have you attempt to do something great and fail than attempt to do nothing with your life and succeed." and no one is born to just take up space in the world
5.The principle of motivation - failure is part of our life
6. The principle of application - God will equip you with all that you need for doing His will
Hebrews 13:217. The principle of compassion - If i do use what God loans me, He will reward me.
Indeed, the sermon was really thought-provoking and will stay stuck in my head for life . And God,
Thank you have everyhing you've done for me. After service, the cell headed for SNOW ICE! WOOGWOOGWOOGZ. Haha, Tasha and I actually ate two bowls ! Because it was so cold and delicious. Champagne grape and mango and milk and honey pearls. Gosh the honey pearls were hard as rock!
Oh no, have to go and eat! Woog, we're having bbq again! Seeya lovelies!
