Yep! It says in the bible, in matthew 5:13 - "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses is flavour, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men." This shows how important, how we shouldn't forsake our stand and belief as God's children. I was warching "the sin of sodom" preached by ps. Yang Tuck Yoong, on the cornerstone singapore itunes, and ps. yang mentioned this scripture and he mentioned that when Jesus said you are the salt of the earth, salt was very important during the days of Jesus as it was used as:
- to make good things grow, as a fertiliser for plants, crops.
- to stop bad things from growing, was used as a disinfectant.
Wow, amazing, how salt does so many things. Ha ha, comparing to the present times now...when all i use salt is to add it to my meals to make it tastier. (ALAMAK!) Yeah, and if the "salt loses its flavour" really, what good does it serve? The norm is to simply dump it into the nearest dustbin you see. I dont want to be a tasteless and expired packet of salt! I guess neither would you right. Bible tells us,“Without faith it is impossible to please him” (Hebrews 11:6). Simply put, God’s most delectable dish is faith. - David Wilkerson.
Today is the first day of my mc, though God has healed me of my fever (PRAISE HIM), i have to complete it, NO MATTER WHAT. Or else i would get sent back home. Ha ha, Tasha went to school today though her mc ended today. She also had a fever, and nope she didn't pass it to me. It was dearly from my little bro. She got immediately sent back from Ms Tan. HAHAHA. Anyway, even if i complete my mc, i wouldn't need to go back to school for lessons! Only the first day of hols that i need to go back for only a lesson of science. (UGH, IT'S GONNA BE THE TOPICS - DIGESTION and.... SEXUAL REPRODUCTION) haha. I've already gone through the topic during tuition, phew, it was taught by a female teacher, not zhi yang! LOL. Where was i...Hmmm. Where leh.................
OH.
Yeah, and my dad just called in, said my second bro has gotten the fever. AAHAAHA. Must be the both of us that has spread it to him. Poor thing. Sighhhhhh. Gotta do something meaningful for God!
